According to a DNA report, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar will be paired on screen in a film bankrolled by Dharma Productions and directed by Raj Mehta. Kareena will appear in a KJo film over four years after Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.
“The makers have roped in Akshay Kumar to play the male lead. The story is about two couples and they were looking for a senior actor opposite Bebo. Akshay was their first choice and he loved the script. He discussed the film with Karan, and the modalities were worked out immediately,” sources revealed to DNA.
Bebo is set to be a reel mother with this film. Having acted opposite Akshay Kumar in Aitraaz, the leading lady has made stray and brief appearances with Kumar in films like Gabbar and Brothers. She is reportedly thrilled about the on-screen union with Akshay. “When Karan told Bebo they were casting Akshay opposite her, she was extremely happy. Both of them have been great friends and their reunion on screen was only a matter of time,” the source added.
The pair will reportedly essay the role of a couple struggling to conceive. The makers are still in search of the younger pair in the untitled film.

“Filming begins in November, after Akshay wraps up work on Housefull 4. Bebo also wanted a few months break in between to spend some time with her son Taimur. So, the team has worked out everything already.”
