Yes, you read that right. Sonam Kapoor is finding the media frenzy around Kangana Ranaut and Karan Johar’s rather public fight quite entertaining. When Kangana called Karan the ‘flag bearer of nepotism in the film industry’ to his face, Sonam Kapoor was probably smirking. This is what she reportedly had to say in a recent interview with NDTV.

I find it very entertaining. It’s mud-slinging of the worst kind. I find Kangana very entertaining and that’s about it. I don’t want to comment on something that looks opportunistic. I believe you are a feminist when you build other people, especially women. I respect her career choices till now.

I made a choice to not indulge in mud-slinging. I felt that if I had to be opinionated, it has to be for something relevant. I find having a public spat to be very distasteful. I am very close to Karan. He has taken me only in one film, nine years back. If he was a flag bearer, he wouldn’t have launched 12 directors. Both of them are right in their own way.

Speaking of her role in the upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic, she said,

I am not doing Madhuri Dixit’s role. I am doing a very small role, but it is very relevant. I’ll be working with Ranbir after so long. My role in Padman is also a very interesting character. I am excited about working with Balki sir.
