Bollywood actor and writer Kader Khan has reportedly been taken to Canada for further treatment of his knee. Khan recently had a knee operation, but apparently his condition worsened post the surgery. According to reports, the popular character actor from the 80s and 90s was having trouble in walking or even standing and had been using a wheelchair to move around for a few years now.
A report in SpotboyE.com has Khan’s colleague and close friend Shakti Kapoor revealing that Kader Khan has been taken to Canada since his elder son lives there and for better medical facilities to assist his recovery. Khan has been accompanied by his wife.
Kapoor also claimed that Khan was suffering due to an operation that went wrong.
In an interview in 2015, Kader Khan had said that many producers and directors in Bollywood didn’t want to work with him after he fell ill. But the actor wanted to make a comeback as a writer. “There has been a difference in the level of writing. As a writer, I feel that I should come back. I’ll try my best to bring the earlier zubaan (language) back and people are definitely going to enjoy talking in that zubaan,” said Khan.
Another report indicates that Kader Khan had been admitted to Baba Ramdev's ashram in Haridwar in October 2015, to cure the pain in his joints and for diabetes.
