1. ‘Sacred Games 2’ Trailer: The Game Gets Bigger as Gaitonde Returns

The much-awaited trailer of the Netflix show, Sacred Games season 2, is finally out and it promises to be an action-packed thriller going deeper into the mystery of the “save the city of Mumbai in 25 days” plot, which kickstarted the show.

At the end of the last season, we saw Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) being tortured in jail, and Khanna Guruji (Pankaj Tripathi) coming to his rescue. Now Gaitonde is out of jail, and the trailer for Sacred Games 2 gives us an exciting insight into how he gets involved with the cult of Guruji, who becomes his ‘teesra baap (third father)‘.

2. ‘Mission Mangal’ Teaser: An Effort to Create History

The much-awaited teaser of Mission Mangal is finally out. The film is inspired by India’s 2013 Mars space programme Mangalyaan. We hear Akshay Kumar voice giving out an order, “This is Rakesh Dhawan. Mission Control initiating command for launch of the rocket to Mars.” Vidya Balan looks busy commanding the controls. We also see glimpses of Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi.

3. ‘Kabir Singh’ Interview Was Wrongly Edited, Claims Sandeep Vanga

Kabir Singh director Sandeep Vanga has claimed that his (now infamous) interviewwith Anupama Chopra for Film Companion, was "edited in a very wrong way” and some of his comments were taken out of context. The director has been receiving flak for lashing out at critics and vilifying feminists .

Vanga told Deccan Chronicle that his comments in the interview were misconstrued and “taken out of context”. He also claimed that the website had cut portions of his interview.

4. Honey Singh Booked By Punjab Police Over Vulgar Lyrics in ‘Makhna’

The Punjab police has booked singer Yo Yo Honey Singh following a complaintlodged by the Punjab State Women’s Commission which sought action against him for the vulgar lyrics in his latest song, ‘Makhna’, which they found to be offensive to women. Music producer Bhushan Kumar has also been booked.

The case has been registered at the Mataur police station in Punjab's Mohali district. Singh has been booked under Section 294 (punishment for obscene song and acts) and Section 509 (punishment for word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the IPC, Mohali Senior Superintendent of Police Harcharan Singh Bhullar told PTI.

5. Hrithik Leaves No ‘Question Mark’ in This Song From ‘Super 30’

The makers of Super 30 dropped another song, titled Question Mark, from the album on 8 July and people are already loving it. Hrithik Roshan, who’ll be playing the role of mathematician Anand Kumar in the film, is seen teaching his students the importance of asking questions in day-to-day life. Hrithik plays the perfect teacher in the song, who’s encouraging his students to think out of the box.
