1. Emraan and John Set to Feature in Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Mumbai Saga’
After giving us hit gangster dramas like Kaante and Shootout At Wadala, Sanjay Gupta is set to bring another one on screen, titled Mumbai Saga, featuring Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham in the lead roles. Though both the actors have reprised the roles of gangsters in films like Shootout At Wadala and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, this will be the first time the two will be featuring together in a film.
Along with Emraan and John, the film features Jackie Shroff, Prateik Babbar, Rohit Roy, Suniel Shetty, Gulshan Grover and Amol Gupte in pivotal roles. The makers released two photographs of the team of the film on Friday, announcing its name.

2. T-Series Receives Guiness Record for Reaching 100 Mn Subscribers
Music label T-Series recently capped the milestone of reaching one million subscribers on YouTube. T-Series’ chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar was presented the official Guinness World Records certificate for being the ‘First YouTube Channel to surpass 100 million subscribers’ on the popular video sharing platform. Bhushan received the honour at a function in Mumbai on Friday 14 June from Rishi Nath, an official adjudicator of the Guinness World Records.

3. Rohit Roy Returns to TV, Introduces Cast of ‘Sanjivani’ Reboot
Actor Rohit Roy is ready to return to the small screen in the remake of medical drama Sanjivani. He shared a photo of the cast on Instagram writing: “And the 2nd news ... As promised, I’m back on TV with a reboot of the much loved show Sanjivani!! Can’t wait to shoot with this talented lot! @starplus #Vardhan”

4. Rajkummar-Janhvi Begin Filming for Horror Comedy ‘RoohiAfza’
Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor have began shooting for their upcoming horror comedy RoohiAfza, which also stars Fukrey actor Varun Sharma. The film is Rajkummar’s third collaboration with producer Dinesh Vijan after 2018’s Stree.

5. This Is Disgusting: Tanushree Dutta on Closure of Her #MeToo Case
Nana Patekar has being given a clean chit by the police in the case of sexual harassment filed against him by actor Tanushree Dutta last October. The Mumbai police submitted a B Summary report before a metropolitan magistrate in Andheri in Mumbai on 12 June citing lack of evidence as a reason for the closure of their inquiry into the matter.
Now, Tanushree Dutta has spoken about the matter to Bombay Times. “Nana Patekar has been trying to get a clean chit for a while now, and I find this verdict disgusting. I have said it earlier that witnesses in this case have been threatened and pressured so that they do not record their statements with the police. Thus, out of 10 witnesses, only one-and-a-half statements have been recorded,” she said.
