Saaz aur Saazish, Pianowalla, Shoot the Piano Player and Billi Ka Badla - when Ayushmann Khurrana took to social media to unveil the teaser of his upcoming film directed by Sriram Raghavan, we saw the crew suggesting their titles of preference - the piano seems to be the common denominator. Now that the poster is out, here’s the real title of the film that also stars Radhika Apte and Tabu - Andhadhun.

Taran Adarsh shared the poster on social media. The film marks Khurrana’s first outing with Raghavan, in which he is set to play a blind pianist.

“It’s actually closer to Johnny Gaddaar (his 2007 neo-noir thriller) with its quirky characters and a strong plot revolving around Ayushmann, Tabu and Radhika. Amit Trivedi has done the music, and this is the first time my characters will be lisping in the film.” Raghavan told Mumbai Mirror.

He also reveals that Khurrana has played some fantastic pieces in the film, composed by Amit Trivedi.

A still from Twitter
“Ayushmann is a musician himself but he trained rigorously and that worked in our favour as we didn’t have to hire a body double for the finger shots on the piano or even use any kind of VFX. In fact, he plays some fantastic pieces in the film which have been brilliantly composed by Amit,”

The film is set to hit cinemas on 31 August.
