With open nominations creating havoc in the house, the ‘wake-up’ song for the day couldn’t be more apt- Aap ka kya hoga janaabe aali. Seriously, in sab ka kya hoga? We’re on day 30 and NOTHING fun has happened till now. What’s wrong with Bigg Boss 10? The show was never been so thanda.

Since nothing exciting is happening in the house, the makers probably thought, ‘chalo let’s steal all their stuff’. So they did. The inmates wake up to find all their stuff missing. A bold move that better stir things up. Bigg Boss steps in with an explanation. Welcome to the ‘lock down’ luxury budget task. Contestants need to survive on bare minimum basics and have to win clothes, food, shelter as they go along through the task.
No wonder they’re all dressed up as gunny sacks. Even inside the Bigg Boss house, gharwaale are living like nomads. In fact the house is locked for them too. They have to sleep in the garden and use the jail’s washroom.
Kya din aa gaye hain. Rohan and Mona are made captains for the task. Rahul, Lopa, Karan, Bani and Lokesh are in Rohan’s camp, while Gaurav, Manu, Manveer, Swami and Nitibha are put in Monalisa’s team. Jab ghanti bajti hai, both teams can run and fetch a few essentials for their team. But iss game ka hisaab ulta hai. The team with the higher score loses. Each essential they pick adds a point to their account. So basically, they have to make do with bare minimum.
While most of them accept the task, Karan, Nitibha and Swami refuse to compromise. This is bound to cause a lot of drama, and we expect nothing less.
Swami is in no mood to take Mona seriously. In fact, for his own selfish reasons, he’s helping the opposite camp! Manveer is pissed off and you can’t miss his frown. He refuses to give Swami any food for helping Rohan’s team. But Lopa and Rohan give him some from their own portion. You have to see Swami stuffing his face to believe it. It’s going to make you squirm. I think he’s doing it to piss off Manveer even more.
Swami is not a team player, yeh toh aaj clear ho gaya. To take things a notch higher, Bigg Boss brings in desert. One contestant from each team has to fight in the rasgulla challenge. Now wouldn’t you love that! Rahul and Manu are the lucky ones.
But something very unpleasant follows the ‘sweet’ task. Mona insists that one point should be given to the opponents for Karan having the luxury to use a pillow. But Rohan gives her a befitting reply. Then Manveer steps in and calls Rohan a chhammak chalo. Shit hits the fan, I’m not kidding. They have a massive fight. Bigg Boss, where are you when you’re desperately needed?
This task is going to be a nightmare for the contestants, but will it help up the show’s ratings? Aage aage dekho hota hai kya.
