The Goa government has banned the popular, year-end party of Sunburn and Supersonic this year, saying it leads to chaos during “peak tourist season”.

Ziro Festival
If you have not been to the north-east yet, the Ziro Festival is the perfect reason to visit.
Possibly one of the most low-key festivals, you can choose to camp out at the festival site with other festival goers.
This year, the festival returns from the 22-25 September.
GO: Madras Electronic Music Festival
If Sunburn has got you craving for a beach dance party, the GO: Madras Festival is another great music festival you should attend.
Artists like Tech Nomads, Calm Chor, Alex Di Stefano perform at this festival, at the gorgeous Radisson Blu, Temple Bay Resort in Mahabalipuram.
This year, the festival will take place on the 10-11 September.
Storm Festival
Another camp-out music festival, Summer Storm is a two-day extravaganza in the lap of nature!
Artists like Shankar Mahadevan and Usha Uthup have performed here to bring the hills alive with the sound of music!
Last year, this festival kicked off when Sunburn ended, in Coorg.
