After Airflift, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing the role of a naval officer in his next film titled Rustom. This Tinu Suresh film is a period drama set in the 50s. The actor shared his first look from the film via Twitter and we must say, he’s never looked more handsome.

Akshay Kumar’s moustache is not to be missed. Interestingly, the film requires a lot of prosthetics to be used on the actor. Costume designer Ameira Punvani’s spent three months working on this look. With this level of detailing and perfection, Rustom is full of promise. Written by Neeraj Pandey and Vipul Rawal, Rustom also stars Esha Gupta and Ileana D’Cruz. The film is inspired from real-life incidents set in the late 50s and is being shot across Europe.
Considering his brilliant performances in Baby and Airlift, films that have done well for the period-thriller-drama genre, one can only wait to see more of Rustom.
