Kyunki bahu bhi kabhi makkhi thi? ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ takes irrational, to another level with its latest episode.

You know saas-bahi serials have gone on for too far when the lead character becomes a fly. Yes, a fly. 

Yet, this is exactly the new arc on ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, a daily show known for its fantastical, and sometimes irrational plot points. In the latest episode, Simar, the adarsh bahu in the title, played by actress Dipika Kakar has been turned into a fly as a punishment.

By whom, you ask? And why? Well, we don’t know, yet. But as we have learnt over the years, applying logic to saas-bahu shows on Indian television is like expecting an alien to walk into your house and ask for tea.

Or like punishing someone by turning them into a house fly. Oh, wait.
