A month after the government of Assam announced financial aid for filmmaker Kalpana Lajmi, who is fighting a kidney ailment, Mumbai Mirror reported that Aamir Khan and Rohit Shetty are helping out with paying Lajmi’s medical expenses.
While Aamir is footing the bill for the next few months, Dilwale director Rohit Shetty has also contributed Rs 2 Lacs. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, who has actively been seeking help on Lajmi’s behalf, tweeted to thank Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Rohit Shetty for their support.
