Dear India,
Yes, I am an Indian and a good one too. Our great history has not only been an inspiration to us all, but an inspiration to other countries as well. Our leaders made sacrifices so that we could have a glorious nation to live in.
But was their struggle worth it? Look at what is happening around us. Innumerable crimes against women, poverty, inflation, etc. It’s getting worse everyday. And instead of taking any legal action, we have leaders who make frivolous comments like “rapes are done by mistake” or “boys will be boys”.
Nothing has changed in our country. Maybe it has even become worse. Earlier, we were at the mercy of the British, and now, we are at the mercy of our heartless politicians. We have taken some steps but it seems they are not enough.
I request the youth of our country to take responsibility and stand for what is right. It’s ironic that we don’t respect women in our country but worship goddess like Lakshmi, Durga and Saraswati.
Let’s come together and build a stronger India. An India for everyone.
