2. Protests at the Golden Temple on the 33rd Anniversary of Operation Blue Star
6 June marks the 33rd anniversary of Operation Blue star. In response to this, like every year, protest slogans were raised at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Calls of 'Khalistan Zindabad' were heard while a bandh was organised in the city.

3. Two Bihar Youth Hung Upside Down & Beaten On Charges Of Theft
In a shocking incident, two young men were tied with ropes, hung upside down, and beaten up after being accused of stealing chairs from a wedding function.
The two men, identified as Raj Kumar Bind and Birbal Bind, were thrashed and publicly humiliated by a group of men – including Mahangu Bind, who hosted the wedding. Read the full story here.
4. Anupam Kher to Play ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ Manmohan Singh
According to a report in the Economic Times, actor Anupam Kher will be playing former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a film based on Sanjaya Baru’s book, The Accidental Prime Minister.
