2. ‘Cannot Believe Locals Don’t Know Me’: Jodhpur BJP MP Shekhawat

As the Lok Sabha elections gears up for its fourth phase, The Quint met Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat who is contesting against Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot's son, Vaibhav Gehlot, in the polls.

Shekhawat is also the Minister of State for Agriculture in PM Modi's cabinet at the Centre, is known to be a close aide of BJP leader Amit Shah, and is a tall Rajput leader in the region.

3. Why Jet Airways Crisis Seems Like a Case of Crony Capitalism

Amid the din of elections, the turmoil at Jet Airways and fallout after the suspension of services has not managed to attract a lot of attention. During this, two major developments have taken place which make this whole crisis seem like a case of crony capitalism. Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy wrote a letter to the Union Civil Minister Suresh Prabhu, and, then tweeted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that two BJP leaders want to hand over Jet's business to SpiceJet.

Another thing to observe is Indigo and Tata Vistara's letter to the government. They have alleged that there's no level-playing field in the government's allotment of Jet Airways slots (the slots that have come up for grabs after Jet's supension). It is also in violation of the 2003 guidelines, they have written.

When we talk about rules and regulations of businesses and policies in the country, let's see what happened to those in the Jet saga.

4. Review | Avengers: Endgame – Not Perfect, But Emotionally Exhausting

Let’s admit it. You aren’t looking for a review of Avengers Endgame. Because if you are, then this film isn’t for you anyway.

Our love affair with the Marvel cinematic universe started in 2008 with Iron Man! Eleven years later, it all comes down to this fantastic finale – a closure we loyalists of the Marvel cinematic universe (MCU) need and deserve.

Lots of fan theories and spoilers are floating around about who all will die and who would defeat Thanos finally.

Yours truly will obviously steer clear of this but what one can definitely let you know is that this movie isn’t for a first-timer to try and jump in on.

5. Underwear Jibes to Curses on Martyrs: Netas Say Anything for Votes

Threats (some veiled, others open), curses, hate speeches and abuses are ruling campaign discourse this election season. From the beards of Muslims to Khaki underwear, party bigwigs are raising the most ridiculous concerns in their rallies. It almost looks like they are taking turns in rolling out outrageous remarks day after day, keeping the Election Commission on its toes (or so we hope). And we, the citizens don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Looking back, here are a few of the most bizarre and totally uncalled for remarks that our representatives made while asking us to vote for them.
