Suspected ISIS Terrorist Kills at Least 8 in Manhattan

A driver in a rented pickup truck mowed down pedestrians and cyclists on a bike path alongside the Hudson River in New York City on Tuesday, killing at least eight people and injuring about a dozen others in what authorities said was an act of terrorism.

The suspect shot by police after he jumped out with what turned out to be two fake guns.

According to reports, Uber has confirmed the Manhattan terrorist attack suspect used to be one of their drivers. A note pledging allegiance to ISIS was found inside the truck used by the attacker.

Attack Draws Condemnation

US president Donald Trump, Barack Obama, and other world leaders expressed condolence and condemned the attack that claimed so many lives.
