Hours after a police complaint was registered against him, Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal denied having assaulted a man at a New Delhi club in the wee hours of Sunday. Rampal took to Twitter to express his shock over the allegation.
Earlier in the day, a police complaint was registered against the Bollywood actor by Shobhit, who alleged that Rampal had thrown a camera at him.
The complainant claims that Rampal, who was playing as a DJ at a popular night club hurled a camera at the crowd. The camera then reportedly hit the victim, who received minor head injuries.
Following the incident, the victim says he tried to approach Rampal, but was not allowed to have to speak to him. Shobhit has now registered a complaint with the Connaught Place police station but says the police has not acted so far.
