Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will kick start Day One of the International Fleet Review (IFR) activities on Thursday.
Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R K Dhowan, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Vice Admiral Satish Soni and commanding officers of visiting foreign naval ships will also be present on the occasion.
An array of stalls showcasing the self-reliance of the Indian Navy, have been set up by various Indian industries and organisations. A thematic light and sound show depicting the roles of the Indian Navy, both in war and peace time, will be also be an attractive feature in the exhibition.
