The Quint caught up with the 200m butterfly national record holder, Sajan Prakash at the sendoff ceremony for the Indian Olympic Contingent on Monday.
The swimmer, who works as a clerk in the Railways will be competing in the 200m butterfly event at Rio.
Prakash, who has fought against all odds to become an Olympian, spoke about his training regime, goals for Rio Olympics and the amount of support swimming receives in India.
