A 15-year-old girl burnt herself alive to save her dignity from a molester in Firozabad. According to the victim’s neighbours the accused, identified as Rahish, entered the girl’s home when she was alone.
Rahish forced himself on the girl but she put kerosene on her body and set herself ablaze to save her honour. Upon hearing noise, the neighbours rushed to the house and Rahish fled the scene.
He was later caught by the police. A case has been registered against him under relevant sections of IPC.
