Watch: Dia Mirza Backs Virushka For Stopping a Litterbug

Actor Anushka Sharma called out a guy named Arhhan Singh for throwing garbage on the road. Husband Virat Kohli shot and shared a video of her pulling up the gentleman in a luxury car who littered the street with a piece of plastic. In the video Anushka has rolled down the window of her car to hold the guy who threw garbage and plastic on the road, accountable. She tells him to be more careful and not do this again, after questioning his act.

Virat shared the video with the slogan: “Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma”.

While Anushka Sharma may have schooled a common citizen on the road for littering , it seems to not have gone down well with the man or his mom. They took to social media and called them out for invading his privacy and tarnished his image by showing his face.

As a mother, I would like to state that you have not only shamed my son on social media by not blurring his face, but you’ve also exposed him to unwanted hostility and danger from fanatics for such a small thing that you claim he has done but have no proof of anyway. I am concerned about my son’s SAFETY!!! How dare you crush somebody’s image and morale and reputation and expose him to public hate, a boy who is on the verge of starting his ventures, just to prove what good citizens you both are and to increase your fan following ? How dare you?? If you both really cared or bothered about cleanliness, then you would actively do something about all the garbage in your own lane. You would make a noise and use your VOICE to urge the municipal authorities to take action at least in the lane where you live, to start with, which you haven’t. Posting videos of fake bravado just to fool your followers.
