A video clip, purportedly of Hardik Patel in an intimate moment, has sent poll-bound Gujarat into a tizzy. Now that the Patidar reservation movement has been dented with the release of the clips on social media, the general public is still wondering how relevant the matter is when it comes to the December Assembly Elections.
When The Quint took to the streets in Ahmedabad, many said they did not know what to make of the video. Most of them expressed their confusion over the matter, stating that Patel is yet to clarify whether it was him in the video.
Some residents spoke about invasion of privacy and how consensual sex is nobody’s business but that of those involved.
