Pakistan lost four wickets in four overs to go from 117 for 1 in the 24th over to 129 for 5 in the 27th over. Doing this they handed the initiative to India after Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam threatened to take away the game from India.

Babar Azam: Looking good on 48 and well on course to his fifty, Azam misread a delivery from Kuldeep Yadav which pitched just outside the off stump and came in with the angle, the ball went through the big gap between bat and ball. When Azam fell, Pakistan were 117/2 in 24 overs.
Fakhar Zaman: Set to score his second 100 against India, Fakhar Zaman lost his concentration. Trying to sweep Kuldeep, Zaman top-edged one straight to his spinning partner who completed the catch just at the edge of the circle.
Mohammed Hafeez: Hafeez came into bat with Pakistan in a bit of bother with India breaking through the partnership between Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman. Scoring 9 from seven balls, he timed a delivery bowled at his pads by Hardik Pandya so sweetly that it ended up going straight into the hand of Vijay Shankar who was fielding at square-leg.
Shoaib Malik: Malik was extremely unlucky as he bagged a golden duck getting out of the very first ball that he faced from Pandya. It was two in two for Pandya and it was 129/5 for Pakistan as Malik chopped the very first ball that he faced onto his stumps.
