Days after Portugal’s leading newspaper reported that football star Chirstiano Ronaldo had proposed to his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, the couple were spotted visiting the Church of Gran Madre di Dio in Italy on Saturday, 17 November. Media reports suggested that the duo were hunting venues for their wedding.
The 19th century church features in the 1969 film The Italian Job.
The Juventus star and Rodriguez have a one-year-old daughter named Alana Martina and have been dating for more than two years.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez were in London earlier this month to celebrate their daughter’s first birthday.
They had a romantic dinner in London, and were caught wearing identical rings. The duo also watched ATP World Tour finals game between Novak Djokovic John Isner in the city.
However, the couple have not officially confirmed the news about their engagement.
