India Under-17 football team has chosen Amarjit to lead in the upcoming World Cup as they are all set to play their first match against USA on 6 October which happens to be the opening day of the tournament.

Hosted across 6 venues in India, the tournament is expected to be a landmark event in the history of Indian football commencing on 6 October at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.

The winner of the tournament will be decided after a round of 52 games (36 group stage + 16 eliminators) on 28 October, at Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium, Kolkata.
