In the final medal event, Satwik Rankireddy /Chirag Chandrashekhar settle for silver in the men’s doubles final of the badminton event. England’s Ellis Marcus/Chris Langridge win in straight sets 21-13, 21-16.

In the men’s doubles event, Indian pair of Rankireddy Satwik/Shetty Chirag Chandrashekhar will be vying for country’s last gold medal in their final medal match of the Games.
Badminton: Silver For Kidambi Srikanth
Despite winning the first game of the final, world no. 1 Kidambi Srikanth loses the next two games to settle for a silver medal against defending Commonwealth champion Lee Chong Wei. Srikanth lost 21-19, 14-21, 21-14.
This was the first time Srikanth dropped games in the entire tournament. Lee Chong will also be taking home the gold medal at CWG for the third time.
Srikanth did well to take the first game. In the second game there was a close fight till the break but from there Lee took over. In the third game Lee didn’t give Srikanth any chance to pose a threat.
Squash: Joshna Chinappa/Dipika Pallikal Settle For Bronze
In the squash women’s doubles final, Indian pair of Joshna Chinappa and Dipika Pallikal lose to New Zealand’s Joelle King and Amanda Landers-Murphy to take home the bronze medal.
Joshna Chinappa/Dipika Pallikal lost 11-9, 11-8.
