It is going to be an action packed Friday, 24 August for the Indian contingent on Day 6 of the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia. Having already won 18 medals at the Games, India would look forward to win a few more medals.
India’s shooting stars Heena Sidhu and Manu Bhaker will be in action at the 10m Air Pistol event at 7:30 am. Amit Kumar and Harjinder Singh take stage at the same time to compete at the men’s 300m standard rifle event.
In tennis, Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan will try to get their hands on a gold medal when they compete in the men’s doubles final, while Prajnesh Gunneswaran will look to advance to the final of the men’s singles event.

Later in the day, gymnast Dipa Karmakar will look to finish the Asian Games on a high as she will be competing in the women’s balance beam event.
At 1:30 pm, the Indian women’s Kabaddi team will aim for gold in the final match of the tournament against Iran.
Kidambi Srikanth will be competing in the men’s singles competition. The event begins at 12 pm.
In the evening, the Indian men’s hockey team will hope to continue their dream run in the tournament. The team created history after defeating Hong Kong by a staggering margin of 26-0. India will take on Japan at 6:30 pm.
