On the occasion of Sachin Tendulkar’s 44th birthday, All India Bakchod (AIB) co-founder Tanmay Bhat posted a heartfelt message for the cricket legend on social media.
The renowned comedian called Tendulkar an “inspiration”, and credited the cricketer for making his childhood memorable for him.
He also expressed regret at posting the Snapchat video last year, where he mocked the cricketer, and hoped that he would make it up to him someday.

In May 2016, Bhat got embroiled in a controversy when he posted a video on the picture-sharing platform Snapchat, impersonating Tendulkar and iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar.
The comedian drew a lot of flak for his impersonation, which was seen as an insult to the two icons by the likes of Shiv Sena, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, and actors Anupam Kher and Ritesh Deskhmukh.
