A 24-year-old student was allegedly raped in Delhi’s Hauz Khas village on 18 February 2017. The accused, according to reports, approached the 24-year-old woman at around 11:30 pm and offered her a lift home. He then lured her to an isolated spot inside the park where he raped her.
The Quint decided to go interact with people at Hauz Khas Village and ask them about the incident, women’s safety in general and how it can be best negotiated.
