Major parties are making big promises about jobs and employment in the Punjab. However, with elections around the corner, The Quint introduces you to Shinder Kaur, Bathinda’s first and only woman auto driver. She’s uneducated and says jobs aren’t available for people like her.
She can barely make ends meet and pay back the loans she took to buy her auto with the money she makes driving through the day. All she wants from the new government is for her loans to be waived.
