Who will lay claim to the AIADMK’s ‘two leaves’ election symbol?

• The Election Commission is all set to deliver its verdict on the tussle over the AIADMK’s election symbol.
• Two factions of the party – headed by O Panneerselvam and Sasikala Natarajan, respectively – have laid claim to the ‘two leaves’ symbol. Both parties were given one and a half hour to make their case.
• The tussle has gained steam ahead of the byelection to the RK Nagar assembly constituency in Chennai which will be held on 12 April.
