Podcast | Why India’s Win in Australia is Nothing Short of History

After 71 years, and 11 prior series without any success, Virat Kohli’s side became the first Indian team to defeat Australia in a Test series Down Under.

This game ended in a draw, a rather damp squib, but the series has been anything but that.

India took the four-match series 2-1, on account of victories at Adelaide and Melbourne to either side of a defeat at Perth.

Aside from an all-time high in Indian cricket, India also became the first visiting team from Asia to win a Test series against Australia in their home turf.

This is a big moment for cricket fans obviously but also those who haven’t been following cricket. Tune in to The Big Story to know how India made history with this win.
