Saudi Arabian King Salman issued help worth Saudi Riyal 100 million ($26 million), on Monday, for Indian workers stranded in the Gulf country.
King Salman also asked the Saudi Labour Ministry to meet representatives of the countries whose nationals are affected.
Besides providing exit visas, the King has directed the Saudi authorities to work with the Indian officials in Jeddah to facilitate possible employment for Indian workers.
Prospective Employers Come Forward
After the visit of Minister of State for External Affairs, VK Singh, prospective employers for Indian workers have started offering jobs.
Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj stated in Parliament that India will make efforts to find alternate job options for those who wish to continue in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi employers along with Indian diplomats and Saudi labour ministry officials are visiting the labour camps in Jeddah and meeting with job seekers.
They held interviews on Sunday for some hundreds of skilled and unskilled workers, although the number of jobs offered was not revealed.
