CLAIM
A video of India Today reporter Mausami Singh, allegedly staging sloganeering with some Congress workers against PM Modi at the Jammu and Kashmir airport, is being circulated on social media.
BJP’s Delhi spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga shared the video on Twitter, alleging Singh to be a pro-'dynasty' journalist, alluding to an affiliation with the Congress party.
“Journalist or Congress chamchi? @mausamii2u of @aajtak today started her nautnki at J&K Airport, [sic]” the tweet read.

The video comes at a time when a delegation of Congress workers led by Rahul Gandhi was sent back to Delhi soon after they landed at the Srinagar airport on Saturday, following the revocation of Article 370.
WHAT IS THE TRUTH
It is an old video of the reporter from 23 January, at the Anand Bhawan in Prayagraj, after the appointment of Priyanka Gandhi as the in-charge of the Congress in Uttar Pradesh East, ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. It is not from the Srinagar airport as claimed by Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga.
WHAT WE FOUND
On fragmenting the video into key frames and conducting a Google reverse image search, we came across a video posted by Rahul Kanwal, an anchor at the India Today Group.
This is the same video making rounds on social media, alleging the reporter of inciting anti-Modi sloganeering.
In the video, Mausami can be seen gauging the mood of the Congress workers regarding Priyanka Gandhi’s new role.
The video also comes at a time when Singh, who was covering Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders' Kashmir visit, was allegedly manhandled, along with other journalists, at the Srinagar airport recently.
Singh can be seen questioning the police as to why they were being roughed up.
