Eleven-year-old Malti Tudu, is been hailed as a brave-heart in her tiny tribal village in Godda, Jharkhand. She carried her younger brother, who was running a high fever, on her shoulders, to a hospital which was eight kilometres away from her home.
With no medical and transport facilities in the vicinity, Malti had no option but to carry her brother to the nearest hospital as early as possible.
According to media reports, after seeing her some people came forward to help her out. “I saw the girl crying at the hospital and took her to the doctor. After the treatment, we sent her back by ambulance,” a social worker Manoj Bhagat was quoted as saying to CNN-IBN.
