Amidst the #MeToo storm, The Quint spoke to a lawyer who was allegedly molested and manhandled by her male colleagues in lower court premises in Delhi. She filed a police complaint against the perpetrators. Currently, the matter is being probed by the crime branch of Delhi Police.
To further her efforts in seeking justice for women lawyers who face sexual harassment in courts, she has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. It demands the setting up of an Internal Complaints Committee in all courts across the country to look into sexual harassment cases which occur inside court premises.
