Three people lost their lives in a cloudburst in the Baltal area of Jammu and Kashmir near Srinagar. Two have gone missing while nineteen have been injured.
The cloudburst deposited large debris near the base camp of Amarnath Yatra in Baltal.
State authorities have been in action to rescue people and Governor N N Vohra has announced an ex-gratia of Rs one lakh to those who died in the disaster.
