Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday, 10 October, reacted to Supreme Court’s decision to ask the central government to submit the details of the Rafale deal decision-making process by 29 October. The Congress president said the process was simple, it was what “the PM decided.”

The Supreme Court has asked the central government to submit the details of the Rafale deal decision-making process by 29 October, reported PTI.

The apex court has also clarified that it doesn’t want information on the pricing and technical details of the deal.

“We are not issuing notice to the government. We make it clear that the court hasn't bought into the arguments made by the petitioner. Their arguments are grossly inadequate," the top court said, asserting that it would not go into the pricing or suitability of the jets, reported NDTV.

The court was hearing a petition filed by ML Sharma and Vineet Dhanda who alleged corruption in the Rs 59,000 crore deal signed in 2016 between India and France.
