CBSE Re-Exam: Why Should We Suffer, Ask Angry Students on Twitter

The news of re-examination has sent the class 10 maths and class 12 economics students into a tizzy.

A notice by the CBSE board on Wednesday, 28 March, sent the class 10 maths students and class 12 economics students into a tizzy. It bore the dreaded words – re-conduct of examinations!

Fun Fact: A total of 11.86 lakh students have taken the class 12 board exams this year, while 16.38 lakh class 10 students sat for the exams.

Angry and agitated students took to Twitter, demanding answers from Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar.

"Why should we suffer?” they echoed.

Students blamed the CBSE for its failure – and opposed the idea of re-examinations.

HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar, in a press conference on Wednesday, said that an investigation is underway into the matter, and that tighter security will be put in place while distributing the question papers. But isn’t it too late, Mr Javadekar?
