The Central Board of Secondary Education announced the results for Class 12 board examinations on Saturday, 26 May.

Over 11 lakh students had registered for the examinations, which were marred with controversy over the paper leak issue.

  • Step 2: Click the link for CBSE Class 12 Results 2018
  • Step 3: Enter your roll number and date of birth
  • Step 4: Download the CBSE Class 12 Results 2018 for future reference

Javadekar Congratulates Students

HRD minister Prakash Javadekar today congratulated those who passed CBSE class 12 exam and also advised those who did not do well not to lose heart.

He also said the quality of government schools is improving and congratulated those for a good show.

I congratulate all those who succeeded. Those who did not succeed, I give them my best wishes because they should not lose heart. This is a temporary setback and they will put in more effort and succeed.

According to CBSE officials, government-aided schools registered a pass percentage of 84.48 per cent and government schools had a pass percentage of 84.39.

Differently Abled All-India Toppers

The topper in the differently abled students category is Vijay Ganesh from Palakkad, Kerala, securing 98.4 percent. Dehradun’s Pooja Kumari stood second with 97.8 percent, while Lavanya Jha of DPS RK Puram came third with 97.4 percent.

A total of 141 candidates in the differently abled category scored 90 percent and above. Twenty-five candidates scored 95 percent and above.

Meghna scored 99 in English, 100 in History, 100 in Geography,100 in Psychology, 100 and 100 in Economics.

Pass Percentage Increases by Nearly 1%

This year, the pass percentage has improved to 83.01 percent from 82.02 percent last year.
