A bus driver suffered a heart attack while at high speed in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh on Monday, reported the Times of India.
However, he managed to save his 29 passengers from any injury, before dying due to the cardiac arrest.
Rashid was driving a bus belonging to Arya Travels and going from Khandwa to Kohdar. He managed to bring the vehicle to a halt near the village of Chhoti Borgaon as the heart attack hit.
Despite the pain, he was able to safely stop the vehicle near a tree. Passengers tried to call for medical aide but Rashid passed away before the police or ambulance could reach him.
The passengers were emotional and blamed his death on the delayed reaction of the authorities.
