PM Modi in Singapore for ASEAN & East Asia Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Singapore. He is on a two-day visit to the country to participate in the ASEAN-India and East Asia Summits. He will also participate in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Leaders' Meeting.

2 Killed in Fire at High-Rise in Mumbai's Andheri

Two people have died and one injured after a level-2 fire broke out on the tenth and the eleventh floor of the Kadam Chawl SRA building, near Oberoi Tower on Vira Desai road in Mumbai’s Andheri. The fire broke out around 8:30 pm on Tuesday. The cause of fire is yet to be ascertained.

Srinagar Police Arrests Woman Carrying Ammunition

Srinagar police on Tuesday arrested a female over-ground worker carrying ammunition including grenades and live rounds, during a search operation at a check point in Lawaypora. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.

Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda assigned the additional charge of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers. Narendra Singh Tomar has been assigned the additional charge of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. Both charges have been assigned in addition to the existing portfolios.
