One person was killed and two others received bullet injuries after a clash broke out between two groups in South 24 Parganas district on Sunday, police said.
The incident happened at Canning bus stand under the jurisdiction of Canning police station.

Man arrested for abducting minor
A man has been arrested in Delhi for allegedly kidnapping his employer's three-year-old son to recover his due from the latter, police said on Sunday.
A case was registered by the boy's father on Saturday, alleging that his friend who stayed back at his house a day before the incident, allegedly took his son without informing them. The complainant stated that he received a ransom call of Rs 7 lakh for the safe release of his son, said Chinmoy Biswal, deputy commissioner of police (southeast).

1 Dead 7 Injured After Bus Falls into Gorge in Himachal Pradesh
At least one died and seven were injured after a bus fell into a gorge at Mancholi area of Chaupal Tehsil of Shimla district on 30 September, ANI reported.
Accoding to the report, the injured have shifted to a local hospital in Chaupal.
