BHU Student Shot Dead
MCA student at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Gaurav Singh, who was shot at in front of Birla hostel on Tuesday, 2 April, has succumbed to his injuries. Anil Kumar Singh, Circle Officer, Varanasi Cantt says: "We have arrested 4 people. It was a case of personal enmity".

Car of OSD to Union Minister Looted
Car of an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Union Minister JP Nadda was looted from Nizamuddin in Delhi on Tuesday, 2 April and later recovered by police from Sector 2, Noida. The robbers escaped leaving the car. Legal action is being taken.

NIA Arrests Absconding JeM Terrorist From UAE
NIA has arrested a JeM terrorist who was absconding in 2017 Lethpora CRPF terror attack case. He had escaped to UAE on 1 February, 2019. Government of India brought him back to the country on 31 March, reported ANI.
