Two days after the deadly gas explosion in Petlawad region of Jhabua distrcit of Madhya Pradesh, police has recovered 69 detonators and a number of gelatin sticks from the residence of the main accused’s brother.

The main accused, Rajendra Kasawa, also stored a huge pile of explosives for mining work in a building which triggered off a series of explosions killing 89 people and injuring over 100 on Saturday.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for anybody who can give information about Kasawa, who is absconding.

Kasawa was booked on Saturday under relevant sections of IPC and Explosive Substances Act. After the explosion Kasawa and his family members fled from their residence.

CM Chouhan said family members of the deceased will get aid of Rs 5 lakh instead of Rs 2 lakh as promised earlier. He also said employment will be given to the kin of the deceased.
