National Award-winning music director Ilayaraja was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on August 15 for pain in his abdomen according to NDTV. The report says that he is in a stable condition.
According to The Hindu, he was checked for cardiac and gastrointestinal ailments, but no problems were found and he is likely to be discharged on Monday.
