Gallantry Medal for Civilians who Nabbed Udhampur Attacker Naved

The two J&K civilians have been given jobs in the state police department along with Shaurya Chakra recommendation.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police has provided police jobs to the two civilians who helped nab the Udhampur terrorist. They have also been recommended for the ‘Shaurya Chakra’ gallantry medal.

Director General of Police K Rajendra Kumar issued the orders to Rakesh Kumar Sharma, living in Narsoo Chirdi area of Udhampur, on operational grounds as constable in the state police.

The police is seeking relaxation in qualification norms, for a post in the state police department to help Bikramjeet, the other person who helped nab the Pakistani terrorist.

Bikramjeet is a resident of Nanak Nagar area of Jammu.

Naved was captured last Wednesday after an attack on a BSF bus on Jammu-Sri Nagar national highway in Udhmapur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
