In a recent case of mob justice, a techie was beaten black and blue by a group of people after being tied to an electric pole on West of Chord Road in Bangalore.
He was allegedly stalking a 25-year-old woman and was passing lewd remarks at her. Instead of handing him over to the police, a mob took the law into their own hands.
The police have said that Sri Ramamurthy works for a private firm, is married and has two children. It is alleged that he has continuously been stalking the lady on his way to work.
It is not the first time that he has followed her and passed lewd remarks. A few days ago, he did the same thing and the woman’s husband came to the spot and warned him not to repeat it. But again, on Friday morning, Ramamurthy followed her. The woman, who was also on the way to her office, got scared when he came very close, and while on the pretext of talking into his mobile phone, continued to pass lewd remarks at her.Police official, Basaveshwaranagar
