10 Labourers Killed, 5 Injured in Uttarrakhand Landslide

Bodies of ten labourers who were killed have been retrieved, while one of the injured is said to be critical.

• Ten labourers were killed and five injured after a storm hit the Chakrata district of Uttarrakhand in the early hours of Monday morning, leading to a landslide.
  
  
• The incident took place around 1 am when the labourers were sleeping in the Teoni-Hanol area and boulders rolled down after strong winds and thundershowers hit the area.
  
  
• Bodies of the ten labourers who died have been retrieved, and the injured have been admitted to a hospital where one of them is said to be critical.
