At least 14 human foetuses were recovered from the roadside in Jharkhand's Deoghar district in a span of two days, police said on 25 April.
Twelve foetuses were recovered in a sack on 24 April, near bushes by the road at Dumarthar village, a day after police recovered two foetuses from the same spot, police said.
A majority of the foetuses were female. Police suspect the role of nursing homes.
