The application form for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2020 has been released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. The GATE Online Application Portal i.e., the Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) is now live on the official website. The candidates can apply for the same by visiting http://gate.iitd.ac.in/.
It is important for the candidates to note that the online application till 24 September 2019 will be without any fee whereas the candidates will have to pay a late application fee if they apply later than 24 September. The registration process will close on 1 October 2019.
The GATE 2020 examination will be conducted in two sessions. The morning session will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm whereas the afternoon session will be between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
GATE 2020 examination will be conducted on 1, 2, 8 and 9 February 2020. The examinations will be conducted for 25 subjects and the GATE 2020 Admit Card will be released on 3 January 2020 for the same.
GATE 2020 will be a Computer Based Test and the exam will be conducted across the country and six cities outside India. The GATE score would reflect the relative performance level of the candidate in a particular subject, which is quantified based on the several years of examination data. It is to be noted that the GATE 2020 score is valid for three years from the date of announcement of the results.
